Chapter 30
Y/n’s POV
Harvard can make you crazy in all the possible ways and guess what, you'll fall in love in all those ways.
I settled at a corner to simmer down the rush and excitement that had bubbled up inside me. From the speech to the tech runway, to a little show of enormous talents by a band, I was feeling thrilled. The sun was slowly settling down, leaving orange patches of its glow in the sky. I was exhausted but exhilarated, and to level up my excitement I had someone in my mind.
I popped my phone up, ready to FaceTime with Lia, who I knew for sure had been eagerly waiting for an update on the competition and the science and tech shows. The call got connected, her face popped up on the screen, eyes half closed, squeezed shut after a second as the light shone on her face. It was around 5 pm here in Boston, so it would be quite early for her, especially on weekends. “Morning sunshine” she said, her voice croaking, still hung up on her sleep.
